Feelings Insecure – Controlling Feelings of Insecurity and Anxiety
Being insecure with ones, self-opens a window of unfavorable tendencies causing mayhem. Insecure feelings stem from low self-esteem. Insecure means feelings of less worth. Not feeling worthy of yourself while going through the motions of everyday living and working begin to drag you down.
Insecure Means Feelings of Less Worth
A committed relationship can go stale and end up in a spiral downward if either partner is insecure. That ugly monster of jealousy can rear up and reek havoc on what was once a happy and secure union.
You may have a good friend for many years and they may meet a new person to become friends with as well which takes time away from time spent visiting with you. If you are insecure about your friendship the sense of the “Alpha” person will be pondering the thoughts “but I was here first”.
There are occasions in the work place
when a co-worker who has been employed for years
causes the seniority vs. low-man on the totem pole syndrome;
the new comer feels insecure as well.
All People at One Time or Another Experience Feelings of Being Insecure
All people at one time or another in their life may have experienced feelings of being insecure, but no longer are uncomfortable with who they are and have moved on. There are still those who are plagued with this condition; and it can be a never-ending emotion battle.
There are books on being insecure, and practical daily exercises that can be used to alleviate the stress and tension that are caused by this condition. You may seek counseling, and possibly be invited to join support groups that meet with others who also suffer with the same condition as yours.
